A computer-implemented method comprises: receiving, at a first one of the first electronic devices, a first wireless signal transmitted by a second electronic device attached to a vehicle; transmitting, from the first electronic device, a second wireless signal, wherein the second electronic device determines a location of the vehicle along the transportation pathway according to the second wireless signal; receiving, at the first electronic device, a third wireless signal transmitted by a second electronic device, wherein the third wireless signal identifies the determined location of the vehicle; and transmitting, from the first electronic device, a fourth wireless signal, wherein the fourth wireless signal identifies the determined location of the vehicle, wherein other ones of the first electronic devices wirelessly relay fifth wireless signals along the transportation pathway, wherein the fifth wireless signals identify the determined location of the vehicle.

La présente invention concerne un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur consistant : à recevoir, au niveau d'un premier dispositif électronique des premiers dispositifs électroniques, un premier signal sans fil transmis par un second dispositif électronique fixé à un véhicule; à transmettre, à partir du premier dispositif électronique, un deuxième signal sans fil, le second dispositif électronique déterminant une localisation du véhicule le long du trajet de transport selon le deuxième signal sans fil; à recevoir, au niveau du premier dispositif électronique, un troisième signal sans fil transmis par un second dispositif électronique, le troisième signal sans fil identifiant la localisation déterminée du véhicule; et à transmettre, à partir du premier dispositif électronique, un quatrième signal sans fil, le quatrième signal sans fil identifiant la localisation déterminée du véhicule, d'autres dispositifs électroniques parmi les premiers dispositifs électroniques relayant sans fil des cinquièmes signaux sans fil le long du trajet transport, les cinquièmes signaux sans fil identifiant la localisation déterminée du véhicule.
