In an implementation, a method is provided. The method may include: receiving a sensor application (310) by a network platform (110), the network platform comprising a processing module (130) and a plurality of ports (115), and wherein a first portion (140) of the processing module is allocated to an operating system (160) of the network platform; allocating a second portion (150) of the processing module to the sensor application (173) by the network platform (320); executing the sensor application by the second portion of the processing module (330); emulating a port of the plurality of ports by the second portion of the processing module (340); and allowing the executed sensor application to interact with the operating system through the emulated port (350).

Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne un procédé. Le procédé peut consister : à recevoir une application de capteur (310) par une plateforme de réseau (110), la plateforme de réseau comprenant un module de traitement (130) et une pluralité de ports (115), et une première partie (140) du module de traitement étant attribuée à un système d'exploitation (160) de la plateforme de réseau ; à attribuer une seconde partie (150) du module de traitement à l'application de capteur (173) par la plateforme de réseau (320) ; à exécuter l'application de capteur par la seconde partie du module de traitement (330) ; à émuler un port de la pluralité de ports par la seconde partie du module de traitement (340) ; et à permettre à l'application de capteur exécutée d'interagir avec le système d'exploitation par l'intermédiaire du port émulé (350).
