Abstract

An imaging system includes a scattering assembly with a scattering medium positioned a first distance from an object to be imaged. The scattering medium includes a plurality of particles suspended in a suspension medium and at least one field source generating an electromagnetic field to manipulate an orientation, concentration, spatial distribution, and/or other properties of the plurality of particles. The imaging system further includes a detector including a plurality of detector elements positioned a second distance from the scattering medium and an image processing system configured to reconstruct an image of the object from an object image signal detected by the detector using object light scattered by the scattering medium and incident on the detector.

L'invention concerne un système d'imagerie comprenant un ensemble de diffusion doté d'un milieu de diffusion positionné à une première distance d'un objet à imager. Le milieu de diffusion comprend une pluralité de particules en suspension dans un milieu de suspension et au moins une source de champ générant un champ électromagnétique afin de manipuler une orientation, concentration, répartition spatiale et/ou autres propriétés de la pluralité de particules. Le système d'imagerie comprend en outre un détecteur comprenant une pluralité d'éléments de détection positionnés à une seconde distance du milieu de diffusion et un système de traitement d'image configuré pour reconstruire une image de l'objet à partir d'un signal d'image d'objet détecté par le détecteur à l'aide de la lumière d'objet diffusée par le milieu de diffusion et incidente sur le détecteur.
