Abstract

A heat director for a firepit reflects and directs heat from the firepit outwards. The heat director is located above, and spaced apart from, the heat source of the firepit, and is substantially horizontal with respect to the surrounding ground. Generally vertical brackets are fixedly mounted to the heat director, and are used to keep the heat director in its desired position. The heat director is made of tempered glass, but it may also be made of metal. The heat source is surrounded by a windscreen, and the brackets are also fixedly mounted to the windscreen. Set screws are used to attach the brackets to the heat director, and to the windscreen. Alternatively, where a windscreen is not present, the brackets may be modified so that they rest on a heat insulating mass that surrounds the heat source.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de guidage de chaleur pour un foyer qui réfléchit et dirige la chaleur provenant du foyer vers l’extérieur.
