Proposed is a range finding system that achieves increased range finding accuracy. A range finding system (70) comprises: a drive unit (24) for outputting a drive signal for causing a light emitting element to emit light to irradiate an object with the light; a sensor section (302) for detecting light reflected from the object; a measurement unit (23) for measuring a delay period, which is a period of time included in a period between a time when a trigger signal for causing the light emitting element to emit the light is outputted and a time when the light emitting element actually emits the light; and a range finding observation section (52) being a processing section for calculating a distance to the object on the basis of the time when the trigger signal is outputted, a time when the sensor section receives the reflected light, and the delay period.

Système de télémétrie qui permet d'obtenir une précision de télémétrie augmentée. Un système de télémétrie (70) comprend : une unité d'entraînement (24) destinée à délivrer en sortie un signal d'entraînement pour amener un élément électroluminescent à émettre de la lumière afin d'exposer un objet à la lumière ; une section de capteur (302) destinée à détecter la lumière réfléchie par l'objet ; une unité de mesure (23) destinée à mesurer une période de retard, qui est une période de temps comprise dans une période entre un moment où un signal de déclenchement pour amener l'élément électroluminescent à émettre la lumière est délivré en sortie et un moment où l'élément électroluminescent émet réellement la lumière ; et une section d'observation de télémétrie (52) qui est une section de traitement destinée à calculer une distance par rapport à l'objet sur la base du moment où le signal de déclenchement est délivré en sortie, d'un moment où la section de capteur reçoit la lumière réfléchie, et de la période de retard.
