The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a method by which the luminous intensity of a fluorescent dye is able to be enhanced even with use of light having a peak wavelength other than the maximum absorption wavelength; and a method for detecting cancer tissues, wherein the above-described method is applied. A method for enhancing the luminous intensity of a fluorescent dye according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a step for mixing a fluorescent dye (I) with an O/W emulsion that contains, in oil droplets, at least a fat-soluble compound having a functional group that causes a bio-orthogonal reaction with the fluorescent dye (I) and a fluorescent dye (II) having a maximum absorption wavelength that is different from the maximum absorption wavelength of the fluorescent dye (I) and a maximum fluorescence wavelength that is within the absorption wavelength range of the fluorescent dye (I); and a step for irradiating the mixture of the fluorescent dye (I) and the O/W emulsion with excitation light of the fluorescent dye (II).

La présente invention concerne un procédé par lequel il est possible de renforcer l'intensité lumineuse d'un colorant fluorescent même si une lumière ayant une longueur d'onde de crête différente de la longueur d'onde d'absorption maximale est utilisée ; et un procédé permettant de détecter des tissus cancéreux, procédé dans lequel est appliqué le procédé décrit ci-dessus. Un procédé permettant de renforcer l'intensité lumineuse d'un colorant fluorescent selon la présente invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une étape consistant à mélanger un colorant fluorescent (I) avec une émulsion de type aqueux qui contient, dans des gouttelettes d'huile, au moins un composé liposoluble ayant un groupe fonctionnel qui provoque une réaction bio-orthogonale avec le colorant fluorescent (I), et un colorant fluorescent (II) ayant une longueur d'onde d'absorption maximale qui est différente de la longueur d'onde d'absorption maximale du colorant fluorescent (I) et une longueur d'onde de fluorescence maximale qui entre dans la gamme des longueurs d'ondes d'absorption du colorant fluorescent (I) ; et une étape consistant à exposer le mélange du colorant fluorescent (I) et l'émulsion de type aqueux à une lumière d'excitation du colorant fluorescent (II).

本発明は、最大吸収波長以外のピーク波長の光を使っても蛍光色素の発光強度を増強できる方法と、当該方法を応用したがん組織の検出方法を提供することを目的とする。本発明に係る蛍光色素の発光強度の増強方法は、蛍光色素(I)と、少なくとも、蛍光色素(I)と生体直交型反応を起こす官能基を有する脂溶性化合物、および最大吸収波長が蛍光色素(I)の最大吸収波長と異なり且つ最大蛍光波長が蛍光色素(I)の吸収波長域に含まれる蛍光色素(II)を油滴中に含むO/W型エマルションとを混合する工程、および、上記蛍光色素(II)の励起光を上記蛍光色素(I)と上記O/W型エマルションの混合物に照射する工程を含むことを特徴とする。
