This polarization film comprises a polarization membrane having a transparent protective film attached to both sides thereof. The polarization membrane: is formed of a polyvinyl alcohol-based film to which iodine is adsorbed and oriented; and has an iodine concentration of 3-10 wt%. At least one of the transparent protective films has a moisture permeability of 200 g/(m2∙24 h) or less. The polarization film comprises the condition that the change amount (ΔTs) of single film transmittance represented by general formula (1): ΔTs (%) = Ts750 - Ts0. The polarization film: has excellent initial polarization performance; excels in suppressing the deterioration in single film transmittance in a high-temperature environment, such deterioration being caused by coloring of the polarization membrane; and also excels in suppressing a deterioration in polarization performance in a high-temperature/high-humidity environment (humidity resistance).

L'invention concerne un film polarisant dans lequel des films protecteurs transparents sont collés sur les deux faces d'une pellicule polarisante. Ladite pellicule polarisante est formée par adsorption et orientation d'un iode par un film à base d'alcool polyvinylique, la concentration en iode étant supérieure ou égale à 3% en masse et inférieure ou égale à 10% en masse. Au moins un desdits films protecteurs transparents présente une perméabilité à l'humidité inférieure ou égale à 200g/(m・24h). Ledit film polarisant est tel que la quantité de variation (ΔTs) de transmittance de corps simple représentée par la formule générale (1):ΔTs(%)=Ts750-Ts, est supérieure ou égale à 0% et inférieure ou égale à 5%. Le film polarisant de l'invention présente un degré de polarisation initial satisfaisant, se révèle excellent en termes d'effets inhibiteurs de baisse de transmittance de corps simple par coloration de la pellicule polarisante, et se révèle également excellent en termes d'effets inhibiteurs de baisse de degré de polarisation (durabilité face à l'humidification).

偏光膜の両面に透明保護フィルムが貼り合わされた偏光フィルムであって、前記偏光膜は、ポリビニルアルコール系フィルムにヨウ素が吸着配向して形成されており、かつヨウ素濃度が3重量%以上10重量%以下であり、前記透明保護フィルムの少なくとも一方は、透湿度が200g/(m・24h)以下であり、前記偏光フィルムが、一般式(1):ΔTs(%)=Ts750-Tsで表される単体透過率の変化量(ΔTs)が0%以上5%以下である条件を満たす。当該偏光フィルムは、初期の偏光度が良好であり、高温環境下において、偏光膜の着色による単体透過率の低下の抑制効果に優れ、さらに、高温高湿環境下において、偏光度の低下の抑制効果(加湿耐久性)に優れる。
