An optical fiber sensing system according to this disclosure comprises: redundantly laid sensing optical fibers (10A1, 10A2); an execution unit (22) for using the sensing optical fibers (10A1, 10A2) to carry out sensing; a detection unit (23) for detecting the occurrence of a fault in an active-system sensing optical fiber (10A1) from among the sensing optical fibers (10A1, 10A2); and a switching unit (21) for, if the detection unit (23) detects the occurrence of a fault, switching the optical fiber used by the execution unit (22) for sensing to a standby-system sensing optical fiber (10A2) from among the sensing optical fibers (10A1, 10A2).

Selon la présente invention, un système de détection de fibre optique comprend : des fibres optiques de détection disposées de manière répétitive (10A1, 10A2) ; une unité d'exécution (22) se servant des fibres optiques de détection (10A1, 10A2) pour effectuer une détection ; une unité de détection (23) servant à détecter l'apparition d'un défaut dans une fibre optique de détection d'un système actif (10A1) parmi les fibres optiques de détection (10A1, 10A2) ; et une unité de commutation (21) servant à, si l'unité de détection (23) détecte l'apparition d'un défaut, commuter la fibre optique utilisée par l'unité d'exécution (22) pour la détection vers une fibre optique de détection de système en veille (10A2) parmi les fibres optiques de détection (10A1, 10A2).
