A system and method for coproduction in the production of ethylene, including contacting ethane with an oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) catalyst in presence of oxygen in a first reactor to dehydrogenate ethane to ethylene, and contacting a first-reactor effluent with an ODH catalyst in a second reactor to form ethanol and acetaldehyde.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de coproduction en production d'éthylène, comprenant la mise en contact d'éthane avec un catalyseur de déshydrogénation oxydante (ODH) en présence d'oxygène dans un premier réacteur pour déshydrogéner l'éthane en éthylène et la mise en contact d'un effluent de premier réacteur avec un catalyseur d'ODH dans un second réacteur pour former de l'éthanol et de l'acétaldéhyde.
