Abstract

An x-ray imaging apparatus for producing an x-ray image of an object, comprises a support frame to which an x-ray source and an x-ray detector are connected. The x-ray source and the x-ray detector define between them an object space for the object to be examined. The x-ray source is configured to emit from a focal spot an x-ray beam with a main direction into the object space. The x-ray detector comprises an array of pixels sensitive to the x-ray radiation. The x- ray imaging apparatus further comprises a collimator arranged in proximity to the x-ray source and in the path of the x-ray beam between the x-ray source and the object to be examined. The collimator comprises one or more collimator bodies defining a plurality of passages of the collimator, the passages having respective central directions defining a common focal point of the collimator on the side of the x-ray source, preferably a 2D array of passages seen in a plane perpendicular to the main direction of the x-ray beam.

L'invention concerne un appareil d'imagerie par rayons X, permettant de produire une image radiographique d'un objet et comprenant un cadre de soutien auquel sont connectés une source de rayons X et un détecteur de rayons X. La source de rayons X et le détecteur de rayons X définissent entre eux un espace pour objet, destiné à l'objet à examiner. La source de rayons X est conçue pour émettre, à partir d'un point focal, un faisceau de rayons X selon une direction principale jusqu'à l'espace pour objet. Le détecteur de rayons X comprend un réseau de pixels sensibles au rayonnement de rayons X. L'appareil d'imagerie par rayons X comprend en outre un collimateur, agencé à proximité de la source de rayons X et dans la trajectoire du faisceau de rayons X, entre la source de rayons X et l'objet à examiner. Le collimateur comprend un ou plusieurs corps de collimateur, définissant une pluralité de passages du collimateur, les passages suivant des directions centrales respectives définissant un point focal commun du collimateur sur le côté de la source de rayons X, de préférence un réseau 2D de passages vu dans un plan perpendiculaire à la direction principale du faisceau de rayons X.
