Aspects described herein relate to uplink control information (UCI) based uplink preemption indication. In one example, a first node such as an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node may determine that data having a priority level is to be transmitted on an uplink communication channel to a second node. The first node transmits UCI including a preemption indication representing a punctured uplink transmission of the data to the second node after transmission of the data. In another example, a first node such as a parent node in an IAB system may receive, from an IAB node, UCI including a preemption indication representing a punctured uplink reception of the data. In both examples, the UCI may be associated with a preemption indication cycle representing a number of time or frequency resources.

Des aspects de la présente invention concernent une indication de préemption de liaison montante basée sur des informations de commande de liaison montante (UCI). Dans un exemple, un premier nœud tel qu'un nœud d'accès et de raccordement intégré (IAB) peut déterminer que des données ayant un niveau de priorité doivent être transmises sur un canal de communication de liaison montante à un deuxième nœud. Le premier nœud transmet des UCI contenant une indication de préemption qui représente une transmission de liaison montante discontinue des données au deuxième nœud après la transmission des données. Dans un autre exemple, un premier nœud tel qu'un nœud parent dans un système IAB peut recevoir, en provenance d'un nœud IAB, des UCI comprenant une indication de préemption représentant une réception de liaison montante discontinue des données. Dans les deux exemples, les UCI peuvent être associées à un cycle d'indication de préemption représentant un certain nombre de ressources en temps ou en fréquence.
