Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for uplink transport protocol acknowledgment shaping and downlink data shaping at a user equipment. A method that may be performed by the UE generally includes determining an allowed number of transport protocol acknowledgments to transmit in a transmission time interval (TTI); and transmitting one or more transport protocol acknowledgments in the TTI based, at least in part, on the determined allowed number of transport protocol acknowledgments. Another method that may be performed by the UE generally includes determining an allowed number of downlink data units to transmit in a TTI; and transmitting one or more data units in the TTI based, at least in part, on the determined allowed number of data units.

Certains aspects de la présente invention concernent des techniques de mise en forme d'accusés de réception de protocole de transport de liaison montante et de mise en forme de données de liaison descendante au niveau d'un équipement utilisateur. Un procédé qui peut être réalisé par l'UE consiste généralement à déterminer un nombre autorisé d'accusés de réception de protocole de transport à transmettre dans un intervalle de temps de transmission (TTI) ; et à transmettre un ou plusieurs accusés de réception de protocole de transport dans le TTI sur la base, au moins en partie, du nombre autorisé déterminé d'accusés de réception de protocole de transport. Un autre procédé qui peut être réalisé par l'UE consiste généralement à déterminer un nombre autorisé d'unités de données de liaison descendante à transmettre dans un TTI ; et à transmettre une ou plusieurs unités de données dans le TTI sur la base, au moins en partie, du nombre autorisé déterminé d'unités de données.
