Abstract

An Internet of Things device is herein disclosed. The Internet of Things device comprises a communications module having circuitry to communicatively connect to a computer network, a memory operable to store data, a processor coupled to the memory and the communications module and operable to execute instructions stored in the memory, and an activity module, including at least one of a sensor and a control device. The activity module operates under control of the processor to perform a designated activity with at least one of the sensor and the control device. The activity module further communicates on the computer network via the communications module. The processor curtails a volume of communication of the communications module on the computer network if a measured value of a system parameter exceeds a threshold value.

L'invention concerne un dispositif Internet des objets (IdO). Le dispositif Internet des objets comprend un module de communication ayant un ensemble de circuits pour se connecter en communication à un réseau informatique, une mémoire utilisable pour stocker des données, un processeur couplé à la mémoire et au module de communication et utilisable pour exécuter des instructions stockées dans la mémoire, et un module d'activité, comprenant au moins un élément parmi un capteur et un dispositif de commande. Le module d'activité fonctionne sous la commande du processeur pour effectuer une activité désignée avec ledit au moins un élément parmi un capteur et un dispositif de commande. Le module d'activité communique en outre sur le réseau informatique par l'intermédiaire du module de communication. Le processeur restreint un volume de communication du module de communication sur le réseau informatique si une valeur mesurée d'un paramètre de système dépasse une valeur seuil.
