Abstract

Method and System to identify microorganisms in a sample by evaluating the vibrational profil. The method comprises the steps of preparing a database of known spectra and deriving p re-calculated models from the known spectra, the pre-calculated models being associated with hierarchically structured groups/classes of micro- organisms. The spectra of unknown samples of microorganisms are compared in multiple sub-steps with the pre-calculated models in order to identify the microorganisms.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système d'identification de micro-organismes dans un échantillon par évaluation du profil vibratoire. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à préparer une base de données de spectres connus et à dériver p modèles recalculés à partir des spectres connus, les modèles pré-calculés étant associés à des groupes/classes hiérarchiquement structurés de microorganismes. Les spectres d'échantillons inconnus de micro-organismes sont comparés en de multiples sous-étapes avec les modèles pré-calculés afin d'identifier les micro-organismes.
