An apparatus to measure ripeness of oil palm fruitlets via real-time chlorophyll content measurement of plurality of samples, the apparatus including an external housing (1), an optical window (3) connected to a flange (2), at least one probe holder (5) attached to the flange (2) to connect at least one fibre probe (4) to the flange (2) and optical window (3) to deliver excitation light from a plurality of light sources (9), a spectrometer (6) to analyse and measure light signals from the excited chlorophyll molecules in the plurality of samples based on different wavelengths, an array of detectors as contained in the spectrometer (6) to convert the light signals into electrical signals and a wireless network (8) and an application software as a data acquisition interface for real-time monitoring and to store the data in plurality of storage devices such as storage of electronic devices, portable mobile devices, cloud computing network or any combination thereof.

Appareil permettant de mesurer la maturité de fruits de palmier à huile au moyen d'une mesure en temps réel de la teneur en chlorophylle d'une pluralité d'échantillons, l'appareil comprenant un boîtier externe (1), une fenêtre optique (3) reliée à une bride (2), au moins un porte-sonde (5) fixé à la bride (2) pour relier au moins une sonde à fibre (4) à la bride (2) et à la fenêtre optique (3) afin de fournir une lumière d'excitation provenant d'une pluralité de sources de lumière (9), un spectromètre (6) destiné à analyser et à mesurer des signaux lumineux à partir des molécules de chlorophylle excitées dans la pluralité d'échantillons sur la base de différentes longueurs d'onde, un réseau de détecteurs contenu dans un spectromètre (6) pour convertir les signaux lumineux en signaux électriques et un réseau sans fil (8) et un logiciel d'application en tant qu'interface d'acquisition de données pour une surveillance en temps réel et pour le stockage des données dans une pluralité de dispositifs de stockage tels que le stockage de dispositifs électroniques, de dispositifs mobiles portables, d'un réseau informatique en nuage ou toute combinaison de ceux-ci.
