Described herein is a mechanism for automatically correcting perspective of displayed information based on the orientation of the display device. A user can identify a screen orientation where the displayed information does not need perspective correction. The system can monitor changes to the display orientation, and when the orientation changes, the system can measure the distance to a user's eye or calculate the distance based on measured data. Based on the distance, a correction factor can be calculated. An area in the display where corrected information will be displayed is identified. The currently displayed information is corrected based on the correction factor and displayed in the identified display area.

L'invention concerne un mécanisme permettant de corriger automatiquement la perspective d'informations affichées sur la base de l'orientation du dispositif d'affichage. Un utilisateur peut identifier une orientation d'écran où les informations affichées ne nécessitent pas de correction de perspective. Le système peut surveiller des changements dans l'orientation d'affichage, et lorsque l'orientation change, le système peut mesurer la distance par rapport à l’œil d'un utilisateur ou calculer la distance sur la base de données mesurées. Sur la base de la distance, un facteur de correction peut être calculé. Une zone dans l'affichage où des informations corrigées seront affichées est identifiée. Les informations actuellement affichées sont corrigées sur la base du facteur de correction et affichées dans la zone d'affichage identifiée.
