Abstract

A substrate (10) suitable for incorporation into an absorbent article (100) for monitoring and detecting the presence of wetness therein and/or risk of exudate leakage therefrom, is provided. Said substrate (10) comprises a conductive pattern (101) disposed on a first surface (20) capable of being arranged proximal to a body facing side of the absorbent article (100), wherein said conductive pattern (101) can be brought in electrical communication with a clip-on data processing module (103). Said conductive pattern (101) comprises: a plurality of connection tracks (1',2',3',4',5'); and a plurality of sensing tracks (9) connected to said connection tracks (1',2',3',4',5'), wherein the conductive pattern (101) is configured in a manner that addressing multiple combinations of said plurality of connection tracks (1',2',3',4',5') with corresponding terminals (1,2,3,4,5) of the clip-on data processing module (103) result in multiple electrical circuit configurations for measuring resistance, impedance and/or capacitance therethrough.

L'invention concerne un substrat (10) approprié pour être incorporé dans un article absorbant (100) pour surveiller et détecter la présence d'humidité dans celui-ci et/ou le risque de fuite d'exsudat à partir de celui-ci. Ledit substrat (10) comprend un motif conducteur (101) disposé sur une première surface (20) pouvant être disposé à proximité d'un côté faisant face au corps de l'article absorbant (100), ledit motif conducteur (101) pouvant être amené en communication électrique avec un module de traitement de données à pince (103). Ledit motif conducteur (101) comprend : une pluralité de pistes de connexion (1', 2', 3', 4', 5') ; et une pluralité de pistes de détection (9) reliées auxdites pistes de connexion (1', 2' ,3' ,4' ,5'), le motif conducteur (101) est configuré de telle sorte que l'adressage de multiples combinaisons de ladite pluralité de pistes de connexion (1', 2' ,3' ,4' ,5') avec des bornes correspondantes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) du module de traitement de données à pince (103) conduit à de multiples configurations de circuit électrique pour mesurer la résistance, l'impédance et/ou la capacité à travers celle-ci.
