Provided is a display device that has an excellent boosting function. This display device is provided with pixels that have the function of adding data (boosting function). The pixels are each provided with a boosting capacitor, perform addition on data by capacitance coupling, and supply the resultant data to a display device. The capacitance value of the boosting capacitor can be increased by stacking the boosting capacitor and a data retention capacitor on one another. With this configuration, it becomes possible to impart a superb boosting function to a pixel without greatly diminishing the aperture ratio or the high-definition level.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage qui a une excellente fonction d'amplification. Ce dispositif d'affichage est pourvu de pixels qui ont pour fonction d'ajouter des données (fonction d'amplification). Les pixels sont chacun pourvus d'un condensateur d'amplification, mettent en oeuvre un ajout sur des données par couplage capacitif, et fournissent les données obtenues à un dispositif d'affichage. La valeur de capacité du condensateur d'amplification peut être augmentée par empilement du condensateur d'amplification et d'un condensateur de rétention de données l'un sur l'autre. Avec cette configuration, il devient possible de conférer une fonction d'amplification superbe à un pixel sans diminuer fortement le rapport d'ouverture ou le niveau de haute définition.
