Abstract

A multi-fibre optical probe for spectroscopically analysing high concentration mediums (i.e. about 40 wt% or higher solid particulates), an extruder comprising a multi-fibre optical probe, use of said multi-fibre optical probe are provided. Methods of generating a predictive model, determining the value of a parameter of a solid particulate dispersion and manufacturing a solid particulate dispersion are also provided.

L'invention concerne une sonde optique à fibres multiples pour l'analyse spectroscopique de milieux à haute concentration (c'est-à-dire environ 40% en poids ou plus de particules solides), une extrudeuse comprenant une sonde optique à fibres multiples, l'utilisation de ladite sonde optique à fibres multiples. L'invention concerne également des procédés de génération d'un modèle prédictif, de détermination de la valeur d'un paramètre d'une dispersion particulaire solide et de fabrication d'une dispersion particulaire solide.
