Provided is a polyethylene fibre having outstanding anti-creep characteristics while having high strength. The present invention provides an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibre including ethyl branches as side chains, characterised in that the ratio {(C2H5/1,000C)/(elongation stress)} of the number of ethyl branches per 1,000 carbon atoms (C2H5/1,000C) to the elongation stress of the polyethylene fibre (MPa) is 2-30 branches/1,000 carbon atoms/MPa.

L'invention concerne une fibre de polyéthylène ayant des caractéristiques anti-fluage exceptionnelles tout en ayant une résistance élevée. La présente invention concerne une fibre de polyéthylène de poids moléculaire ultra-élevé comprenant des ramifications éthyle en tant que chaînes latérales, caractérisée en ce que le rapport {(C2H5/1000C)/(contrainte d'allongement)} du nombre de ramifications éthyle pour 1000 atomes de carbone (C2H5/1000C) à la contrainte d'allongement de la fibre de polyéthylène (MPa) est de 2-30 ramifications/1000 atome de carbone/MPa.
