Abstract

An actuator assembly comprises a static element (134); a moveable element (122) moveable relative to the static element in a first direction; and an intermediate element (124) provided in a spaced relationship with the moveable element, and movable in a second different direction relative to the static element. At least one shape-memory alloy (SMA) wire is coupled to both the static element and the intermediate element so that on contraction the at least one SMA wire moves the intermediate element in the second direction. There is also at least one bearing (130a, 130c) arranged to couple the intermediate element to the moveable element such that movement of the intermediate element in the second direction causes movement of the moveable element in the first direction. Both of the moveable element and the intermediate element comprise at least one groove within which the at least one bearing is located and each groove has an inclined surface which engages with the at least one bearing.

L'invention concerne un ensemble actionneur comprenant un élément statique (134) ; un élément mobile (122) mobile par rapport à l'élément statique dans une première direction ; et un élément intermédiaire (124) disposé dans une relation espacée par rapport à l'élément mobile, et mobile dans une seconde direction différente par rapport à l'élément statique. Au moins un fil d'alliage à mémoire de forme (SMA) est accouplé à la fois à l'élément statique et à l'élément intermédiaire de sorte que, lors de la contraction, ledit fil de SMA déplace l'élément intermédiaire dans la seconde direction. L'invention concerne également au moins un palier (130a, 130c) disposé de façon à accoupler l'élément intermédiaire à l'élément mobile de sorte que le déplacement de l'élément intermédiaire dans la seconde direction provoque le déplacement de l'élément mobile dans la première direction. L'élément mobile et l'élément intermédiaire comprennent tous deux au moins une rainure à l'intérieur de laquelle se trouve ledit palier et chaque rainure comporte une surface inclinée qui vient en prise avec ledit palier.
