The invention relates to the mounting of an acoustic protection shield (1) for a motor vehicle engine, said mounting comprising a member (4) for fastening said shield to a base (2), said shield comprising a core (7) and an element (8) for reinforcing a region in which said member is received, said element being based on elastomer material moulded in the form of a sleeve (9) for receiving said member, the ends of which sleeve widen in the form of washers (10a, 10b), the foam of said core being moulded over the outer face (11) of said sleeve and over the inner face (12) of each of said washers, the outer face (13a, 13b) of each of said washers being free of foam, the flange (6) bearing with clamping contact on the outer face (13a) of one of said washers (10a), and the outer face (13b) of the other of said washers (10b) bearing with clamping contact on said base.

L'invention concerne un montage d'un écran (1) de protection acoustique pour moteur de véhicule automobile, ledit montage comprenant un organe (4) de fixation dudit écran sur une embase (2), ledit écran comprenant une âme (7) et un élément de renforcement (8) d'une zone de réception dudit organe, ledit élément étant à base de matériau élastomère moulé en forme de manchon (9) de réception dudit organe dont les extrémités s'élargissent en forme de rondelles (10a, 10b), la mousse de ladite âme surmoulant la face externe (11) dudit manchon et la face interne (12) de chacune desdites rondelles, la face externe (13a, 13b) de chacune desdites rondelles étant dépourvue de mousse, la collerette (6) prend appui en contact serrant sur la face externe (13a) de l'une desdites rondelles (10a) et la face externe (13b) de l'autre desdites rondelles (10b) prend appui en contact serrant sur ladite embase.
