The present invention discloses a lubrication method which lubricates a pair of sliding members with use of a lubricating oil composition. With respect to this lubrication method, at least one of the pair of sliding members contains an engineering plastic; and the lubricating oil composition contains a lubricating base oil and at least one wear inhibitor which is selected from the group consisting of a wear inhibitor that contains phosphorus as a constituent element but does not contain sulfur, a wear inhibitor that contains sulfur as a constituent element but does not contain phosphorus, and a wear inhibitor that contains phosphorus and sulfur as constituent elements.

L'invention fournit un procédé de lubrification selon lequel une paire d'éléments coulissants est lubrifiée à l'aide d'une composition d'huile lubrifiante. Selon le procédé de lubrification de l'invention, au moins un des éléments coulissants contient un plastique industriel. La composition d'huile lubrifiante comprend : une huile de base d'huile lubrifiante ; et au moins une sorte d'agent de prévention d'usure choisie dans un groupe constitué d'un agent de prévention d'usure contenant un phosphore en tant qu'élément constitutif mais ne contenant pas de soufre, d'un agent de prévention d'usure contenant un soufre en tant qu'élément constitutif mais ne contenant pas de phosphore, et d'un agent de prévention d'usure contenant un phosphore et un soufre en tant qu'éléments constitutifs.
