The invention relates to a method for generating an assembly plan comprising manufacturing instruction to configure a manufacturing machine of a manufacturing system for manufacturing an industrial assembly. The method receives a three-dimensional assembly model that comprises feature information of the industrial assembly. The feature information may be automatically assigned to manufacturing tools, which are identified on the basis of assembly manufacturing operations. The invention further relates to a method and apparatus for generating the three-dimensional assembly model. The three-dimensional assembly is generated by linking objects of the 3D-assembly with information objects specifying the objects. Due to the present invention, the effort for generating an assembly plan for manufacturing an industrial assembly is reduced. Moreover, a three-dimensional assembly model comprising all information for generating the assembly plan can be generated without providing 2D-assembly drawing of the industrial assembly.

L'invention concerne un procédé de génération d'un plan d'assemblage comprenant une instruction de fabrication pour configurer une machine de fabrication d'un système de fabrication pour la fabrication d'un ensemble industriel. Le procédé reçoit un modèle d'assemblage tridimensionnel qui comprend des informations de caractéristiques de l'ensemble industriel. Les informations de caractéristiques peuvent être automatiquement attribuées à des outils de fabrication, qui sont identifiés sur la base d'opérations de fabrication d'assemblage. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé et un appareil pour générer le modèle d'assemblage tridimensionnel. L'ensemble tridimensionnel est généré par liaison d'objets de l'ensemble 3D avec des objets d'informations spécifiant les objets. Grâce à la présente invention, l'effort pour générer un plan d'assemblage pour la fabrication d'un ensemble industriel est réduit. De plus, un modèle d'assemblage tridimensionnel comprenant toutes les informations pour générer le plan d'assemblage peut être généré sans fournir un dessin d'assemblage 2D de l'ensemble industriel.
