An implantable medical device (1) comprises a sensor device (12) for obtaining a signal (E) indicative of cardiac activity within a patient (P), and a processor device (11) configured to process said signal (E) obtained using the sensor device (12). The processor device (11) is configured to detect a peak indicative of a cardiac event in said signal (E) by comparing said signal to a sense threshold (ST, ST1, ST2). The processor device (11) in addition is configured to adaptively control said sense threshold (ST, ST1, ST2) such that the sense threshold (ST, ST1, ST2) in at least one time period (TPR, TPR1, TPR2) assumes a value which is constant over said at least one time period (TPR, TPR1, TPR2), wherein the sense threshold (ST, ST1, ST2) is reduced after lapse of said at least one time period (TPR, TPR1, TPR2).

L'invention concerne un dispositif médical implantable (1) qui comprend un dispositif capteur (12) permettant d'obtenir un signal (E) indiquant une activité cardiaque à l'intérieur d'un patient (P), et un dispositif processeur (11) configuré pour traiter ledit signal (E) obtenu à l'aide du dispositif capteur (12). Le dispositif processeur (11) est configuré pour détecter un pic indiquant un événement cardiaque dans ledit signal (E) par comparaison dudit signal à un seuil de détection (ST, ST1, ST2). Le dispositif processeur (11) est en outre configuré pour commander de manière adaptative ledit seuil de détection (ST, ST1, ST2) de sorte que le seuil de détection (ST, ST1, ST2) dans au moins une période (TPR, TPR1, TPR2) prend une valeur qui est constante sur ladite période (TPR, TPR1, TPR2), le seuil de détection (ST, ST1, ST2) étant réduit après l'écoulement de ladite période (TPR, TPR1, TPR2).
