Abstract

A system (100) for handling and storage of containers (200), system (100) comprising a structure (102) having storage cells (104) therein. Cells (104) are configured to store a container (200). Cells (104) are arranged in a rectangular prismatic array comprising a plurality of arrays (A1, A2 … A16). Each array comprises columns (C1, C2 … C15) and rows (R1, R2 … R18). Arrays (A1, A2 … A16) are arranged in pairs on opposite sides of void areas (V1, V2 … V8), each of which extends vertically and horizontally through the structure (102). Each cell has a container access opening (106) communicating with its associated void area (V1, V2 … V8). Container cranes (108) are provided for each void area (V1, V2 … V8). Container engagement assemblies (108c) are releasably engaged with respective opposite longitudinal ends of carrier (108a) of cranes (108). Upon movement into a cell (104), assemblies (108c) engage and are vertically supported by horizontal members (102c) at the top of the cell.

L'invention concerne un système (100) pour la manipulation et le stockage de conteneurs (200), le système (100) comprenant une structure (102) ayant des cellules de stockage (104) à l'intérieur de celle-ci. Des cellules (104) sont configurées pour stocker un conteneur (200). Les cellules (104) sont agencées en un réseau prismatique rectangulaire comprenant une pluralité de réseaux (A1, A2 … A16). Chaque réseau comprend des colonnes (C1, C2 … C15) et des rangées (R1, R2 … R18). Des réseaux (A1, A2 … A16) sont disposés par paires sur des côtés opposés de zones vides (V1, V2 … V8), dont chacune s'étend verticalement et horizontalement à travers la structure (102). Chaque cellule a une ouverture d'accès au conteneur (106) communiquant avec sa zone de vide associée (V1, V2 … V8). Des grues de conteneur (108) sont prévues pour chaque zone de vide (V1, V2 … V8). Des ensembles de mise en prise de conteneur (108c) sont en prise de manière libérable avec des extrémités longitudinales opposées respectives d'un support (108a) de grues (108). Lors d'un mouvement dans une cellule (104), des ensembles (108c) viennent en prise et sont supportés verticalement par des éléments horizontaux (102c) au sommet de la cellule.
