A means and method to enhance the security of personalized and variable print-on-demand data on vital records or documents, such as checks, by inkjet printing. A specially formulated penetrating ink prints information on the front side to create an indelibly seamless "dual image" on the reverse side. The reverse image symbiotically complements the primary image on the print side to provide ease of authentication and tamper resistance. Specially formulated MICR ink is used to print information on the front side. Specially formulated penetrating may be different color. Either invisible ultraviolet fluorescent penetrating ink or visible penetrating ink may be used to create the image on the reverse side. The print side and reverse side are printed using single-pen printing by orienting inkjet two different pens in a series.

La présente invention concerne un moyen et un procédé pour améliorer la sécurité de données d’impression à la demande personnalisées et variables sur des enregistrements ou des documents vitaux, tels que des chèques, par impression à jet d’encre. Une encre pénétrante spécialement formulée imprime des informations sur le côté avant pour créer une "image double" continue indélébile sur le côté inverse. L’image inverse complète de façon symbiotique l’image primaire sur le côté d’impression pour conférer une facilité d’authentification et une résistance à la fraude. Une encre MICR spécialement formulée est utilisée pour imprimer des informations sur le côté avant. Une encre pénétrante spécialement formulée peut être d’une couleur différente. Une encre pénétrante fluorescente aux ultraviolets invisible ou une encre pénétrante visible peut être utilisée pour créer l’image sur le côté inverse. Le côté d’impression et le côté inverse sont imprimés au moyen d’une impression à stylo unique par orientation de deux stylos à jet d’encre différents dans une série.
