Abstract

Processes of polymerizing polyolefins and synthesis of activators. The polymerization processes include polymerizing one or more (C2-C12)α-olefin monomers in the presence of at least one catalyst and at least one co-catalyst to produce a polyolefin. The co-catalyst includes a cation and an anion, in which the anion has a structure having a vinyl terminated alkene, one boron atom or more than one boron atoms, and at least four halogen atoms. The anion of the co-catalysts is incorporated into a polymer chain of the polyolefin.

L'invention concerne des procédés de polymérisation de polyoléfines et de synthèse d'activateurs. Les procédés de polymérisation comprennent la polymérisation d'un ou plusieurs monomères α-oléfiniques en C2 à C12) en présence d'au moins un catalyseur et d'au moins un cocatalyseur pour produire une polyoléfine. Le cocatalyseur comprend un cation et un anion, l'anion présentant une structure possédant un alcène à terminaison vinylique, au moins un atome de bore et au moins quatre atomes d'halogène. L'anion des cocatalyseurs est incorporé dans une chaîne polymère de la polyoléfine.
