Disclosed herein are embodiments of mechanically alloyed powder feedstock and methods for spheroidizing them using microwave plasma processing. The spheroidized powder can be used in metal injection molding processes, hot isostatic processing, and additive manufacturing. In some embodiments, mechanical milling, such as ball milling, can be used to prepare high entropy alloys for microwave plasma processing.

L'invention concerne des modes de réalisation de charge d'alimentation en poudre alliée mécaniquement et des procédés de sphéroïdisation de celles-ci à l'aide d'un traitement par plasma micro-onde. La poudre sphéroïdale peut être utilisée dans des procédés de moulage par injection de métal, un traitement isostatique à chaud et une fabrication additive. Dans certains modes de réalisation, un broyage mécanique, tel qu'un broyage à billes, peut être utilisé pour préparer des alliages à entropie élevée pour le traitement par plasma micro-onde.
