This document relates to methods for providing long-term zonal isolation in oil wells using cement compositions that contain triazine-based polymeric additives. The cement compositions containing the polymeric additives exhibit increased tensile strength, elastic strength, or both, without suffering a decrease in compressive strength, as compared to the same cement without the polymeric additive.

Ce document concerne des procédés pour fournir une isolation zonale à long terme dans des puits de pétrole à l'aide de compositions de ciment qui contiennent des additifs polymères à base de triazine. Les compositions de ciment contenant les additifs polymères présentent une résistance à la traction, une résistance élastique accrues, ou les deux, sans subir de diminution de la résistance à la compression, par rapport au même ciment sans l'additif polymère.
