Chemically durable glass compositions are disclosed. In embodiments, the glass composition includes: 48 mol.% to 61 mol.% SiO2; 0 mol.% to 1 mol.% Al2O3; 7 mol.% to 20 mol.% B2O3; 9 mol.% to 16 mol.% R2O, where R2O is a sum of alkali oxides present in the glass composition; 9 mol.% to 15 mol.% Na2O; and 8 mol.% to 21 mol.% ZnO. The glass composition may be substantially free of Li2O. RO (mol.%) < 0.5 x ZnO (mol.%), where RO is a sum of the alkaline earth oxides in the glass composition. An average coefficient of thermal expansion of the glass composition is 75 x 10-7/°C to 88 x 10-7/°C over a temperature range from about 20°C to about 300°C. The glass composition comprises a softening point less than or equal to 660°C. The glass composition comprises a hydrolytic resistance of class HGA1 or class HGA2 according to ISO 720:1985.

L'invention concerne des compositions de verre chimiquement durables. Selon des modes de réalisation de la présente invention, la composition de verre comprend : 48 % en mole à 61 % en mole de SiO2 ; 0 % en mole à 1 % en mole de Al2O3 ; 7 % en mole à 20 % en mole de B2O3 ; 9 % en mole à 16 % en mole de R2O, R2O étant une somme d'oxydes alcalins présents dans la composition de verre ; 9 % en mole à 15 % en mole de Na2O ; et 8 % en mole à 21 % en mole de ZnO. La composition de verre peut être sensiblement exempte de Li2O. RO (% en mole) < 0,5 x ZnO (% en mole), RO étant la somme des oxydes alcalino-terreux dans la composition de verre. Le coefficient moyen de dilatation thermique de la composition de verre est de 75 x 10-7/°C à 88 x 10-7/°C sur une plage de température à partir d'environ 20 °C à environ 300 °C. La composition de verre comprend un point de ramollissement inférieur ou égal à 660 °C.
