Abstract
(EN)
A microfluidic apparatus for separating a droplet of an emulsion in a microfluidic environment is described. The microfluidic apparatus includes a flow cell comprising a first microfluidic channel configured for flowing a first fluid through the flow cell and a second microfluidic channel configured for flowing a stream of a second fluid through the flow cell. The microfluidic apparatus further comprises a first electrode positioned at the first microfluidic channel and a second electrode positioned at the second microfluidic channel on an opposite side of the interface with respect to the first electrode. The first electrode, the second electrode, and the first and second microfluidic channels are configured to generate a non-uniform electric field gradient in the microfluidic apparatus.

L'invention concerne un appareil microfluidique pour séparer une gouttelette d'une émulsion dans un environnement microfluidique. L'appareil microfluidique comprend une cellule d'écoulement comprenant un premier canal microfluidique configuré pour faire circuler un premier fluide à travers la cellule d'écoulement et un second canal microfluidique configuré pour faire circuler un flux d'un second fluide à travers la cellule d'écoulement. L'appareil microfluidique comprend en outre une première électrode positionnée au niveau du premier canal microfluidique et une seconde électrode positionnée au niveau du second canal microfluidique sur un côté opposé de l'interface par rapport à la première électrode. La première électrode, la seconde électrode et les premier et second canaux microfluidiques sont configurés pour générer un gradient de champ électrique non uniforme dans l'appareil microfluidique.
