Methods, systems, and computer program products enable sharing of in-game moments between users in the form of game states saved from video game play. A saved game state of a particular video game may be downloaded from a saved game repository to a gaming device individually or based on being included in a playlist. The video game is loaded with the downloaded game state at the gaming device. The video game is played based on the loaded game state, enabling game play beginning at a gameplay point defined by the loaded game state. A save function for the video game may be prevented while executing on the loaded game state. The video game executing on the loaded game state is terminated before game end. If a playlist is being played through, a next saved game state listed in the playlist may be downloaded and played on the gaming device.

La présente invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et des produits de programmes informatiques qui permettent le partage de moments dans le jeu entre des utilisateurs sous la forme d'états de jeu sauvegardés à partir d'un jeu vidéo. Un état de jeu sauvegardé d'un jeu vidéo particulier peut être téléchargé d'un référentiel de jeu sauvegardé à un dispositif de jeu individuellement ou sur la base d'un contenu inclus dans une liste de lecture. Le jeu vidéo est chargé avec l'état de jeu téléchargé au niveau du dispositif de jeu. Le jeu vidéo est joué sur la base de l'état de jeu chargé, permettant à un jeu de jeu commençant à un point de jeu défini par l'état de jeu chargé. Une fonction de sauvegarde pour le jeu vidéo peut être empêchée pendant l'exécution sur l'état de jeu chargé. Le jeu vidéo s'exécutant sur l'état de jeu chargé est terminé avant l'extrémité de jeu. Si une liste de lecture est en cours de lecture, un état de jeu sauvegardé suivant figurant dans la liste de lecture peut être téléchargé et lu sur le dispositif de jeu.
