Abstract

A network node having a receiver for receiving input packets, a local node memory where one or more parameters for coding are stored, an encoder for creating coded packets from the input packets using linear network coding, and a transmitter to transmit the coded packets. Each coefficient of the linear network coding is a parameter of the one or more parameters or a pre-determined function of the one or more parameters. A related method and a network are also presented.

La présente invention concerne un nœud de réseau ayant un récepteur pour recevoir des paquets d'entrée, une mémoire de nœud local dans laquelle un ou plusieurs paramètres de codage sont stockés, un codeur pour créer des paquets codés à partir des paquets d'entrée à l'aide d'un codage de réseau linéaire et un émetteur pour transmettre les paquets codés. Chaque coefficient du codage de réseau linéaire est un paramètre du ou des paramètres ou une fonction prédéterminée du ou des paramètres. L'invention concerne également un procédé et un réseau associés.
