Abstract
(EN) A printing apparatus is disclosed. The printing apparatus comprises a printhead and a controller. The printhead includes an array of nozzles, each having an actuator to eject a printing fluid, the array of nozzles having a first and a second subset of nozzles, wherein the first subset is located at the vicinity of an edge of the printhead. The controller is to assign a firing mask so that the actuators corresponding to the first subset of nozzles are instructed to eject the printing fluid with a higher energy level than the actuators corresponding to the second subset of nozzles.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un appareil d'impression. L'appareil d'impression comprend une tête d'impression et un dispositif de commande. La tête d'impression comprend un réseau de buses, chacune ayant un actionneur pour éjecter un fluide d'impression, le réseau de buses ayant un premier et un second sous-ensemble de buses, le premier sous-ensemble étant situé aux environs d'un bord de la tête d'impression. Le dispositif de commande doit attribuer un masque de déclenchement de telle sorte que les actionneurs correspondant au premier sous-ensemble de buses reçoivent l'instruction d'éjecter le fluide d'impression selon un niveau d'énergie plus élevé que les actionneurs correspondant au second sous-ensemble de buses.
