A server for controlling a device based on a speech input of a user and an operation method of the server are provided. The server is configured to determine a type of a target device related to a speech input of a user received from a client device in a network environment including a plurality of devices, determine the target device based on the determined type and device information of the plurality of devices, and obtain operation information for the determined target device to perform an operation.

L'invention concerne un serveur destiné à commander un dispositif sur la base d'une entrée vocale d'un utilisateur et un procédé de fonctionnement du serveur. Le serveur est configuré pour déterminer un type d'un dispositif cible associé à une entrée vocale d'un utilisateur reçue de la part d'un dispositif client dans un environnement de réseau comprenant une pluralité de dispositifs, déterminer le dispositif cible sur la base du type déterminé et des informations de dispositif de la pluralité de dispositifs, et obtenir des informations de fonctionnement pour le dispositif cible déterminé afin d'effectuer une opération.
