Zahnradprüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Oberfläche von Zähnen (2) eines Zahnrades (1) mittels eines mit Abstand von dem Zahnrad (1) angeordneten Konfokallasers (5), wobei bei dem um seine Rotationsachse (14) drehenden Zahnrad (1) mit einer Drehwinkelerfassung mittels des Laserstrahls (6) des Konfokallasers (5) die eingriffsseitige Oberfläche des Zahnrades (1) abgetastet wird, indem beim Auftreffen des Laserstrahls (6) des Konfokallasers (5) auf die Oberfläche des Zahnrades (1) erzeugte Signalwerte erfasst, in Relation zum Drehwinkel gespeichert und einander zugeordnet ausgegeben werden. Eine Zahnradprüfeinrichtung (13) weist eine Dreheinrichtung (15) mit einer Drehwinkelerfassungseinrichtung (9) für ein zu prüfendes Zahnrad, eine X-Y-Z-Bewegungseinrichtung (10) an der der Konfokallaser (5) angeordnet ist, eine Eingabe- und Ausgabeeinrichtung (11) sowie eine Rechen- und Steuereinrichtung (12) für die Erfassung, Speicherung und Auswertung der Signalwerte sowie Steuerung der Dreheinrichtung (15), Bewegungseinrichtung (10) und des Konfokallasers (5) auf.

The invention relates to a gear inspection method for analysing the surface of teeth (2) of a gear (1) by means of a confocal laser (5) arranged at a distance from the gear (1), wherein, while the gear (1) rotates about its rotation axis (14), the engagement-side surface of the gear (1) is scanned with rotary angle detection by means of the laser beam (6) of the confocal laser (5), by sensing signal values generated as the laser beam (6) of the confocal laser (5) meets the surface of the gear (1), storing them in relation to the rotary angle, and outputting them in a manner associated with one another. A gear inspection device (13) has rotation means (15) with a rotary angle detection means (9) for a gear to be inspected; an X-Y-Z movement means (10), on which the confocal laser (5) is arranged; an input and output means (11); and a computing and controlling means (12) for detecting, storing and evaluating the signal values and for controlling the rotation means (15), the movement means (10) and the confocal laser (5).
