A new signaling method is suggested to support channel puncturing of BW size that is planned to be supported in 802.11be. The current definition (in 802.11ax) is not sufficient for this purpose. Embodiments of the invention provide several options for signaling methods, each being suitable for a different purpose, and for supporting single-user and/or multi-user communication. In particular, a wireless network device is provided, which is suitable for channel puncturing, and is configured to include information regarding the channel puncturing in a preamble of a transmitted packet.

L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé de signalisation qui est suggéré pour prendre en charge une ponction de canal de taille de BW qui est planifiée pour être supportée dans 80211 La définition actuelle (dans 802.11ax) n'est pas suffisante à cet effet.
