A modular conveyor belt (10) comprises a plurality of first rows of one or more belt modules (20) and a plurality of second rows of one or more belt modules (40). Each of the first rows comprises a first drive surface (26) for receiving a force-transmitting surface of a first series of force-transmitting surfaces of a drive sprocket, the first drive surfaces (26) of the first rows being arranged along a first line in a direction of belt travel (T). Each of the second rows comprises a second drive surface (48) for receiving a force-transmitting surface of a second series of force-transmitting surfaces of the drive sprocket, the second drive surfaces (48) of the second rows being arranged along a second line in the direction of belt travel (T). The first line and the second line are offset with respect to each other. Each belt module (20) of the first rows comprises a first middle section (22) between two link sections (21), which has a first flat top surface and is arranged adjacent to a second middle section (42) between two link sections (41) of an adjacent belt module (40) of one of the adjacent second rows having a second flat top surface. The first flat top surface and the second flat top surface have a different width in the direction of belt travel (T) at least in adjacent zones and the first and second middle sections (22, 42) are devoid of linking means.

L'invention concerne une courroie transporteuse modulaire (10), laquelle courroie comprend une pluralité de premières rangées d'un ou de plusieurs modules de courroie (20) et une pluralité de secondes rangées d'un ou de plusieurs modules de courroie (40). Chacune des premières rangées comprend une première surface d'entraînement (26) pour recevoir une surface de transmission de force d'une première série de surfaces de transmission de force d'un pignon d'entraînement, les premières surfaces d'entraînement (26) des premières rangées étant agencées le long d'une première ligne dans une direction de déplacement de courroie (T). Chacune des secondes rangées comprend une seconde surface d'entraînement (48) pour recevoir une surface de transmission de force d'une seconde série de surfaces de transmission de force du pignon d'entraînement, les secondes surfaces d'entraînement (48) des secondes rangées étant agencées le long d'une seconde ligne dans la direction de déplacement de courroie (T). La première ligne et la seconde ligne sont décalées l'une par rapport à l'autre. Chaque module de courroie (20) des premières rangées comprend une première section centrale (22) entre deux sections de maillons (21), celle-ci ayant une première surface supérieure plate et étant disposée de façon adjacente à une seconde section centrale (42) entre deux sections de maillons (41) d'un module de courroie adjacent (40) de l'une des secondes rangées adjacentes ayant une seconde surface supérieure plate. La première surface supérieure plate et la seconde surface supérieure plate ont une largeur différente dans la direction de déplacement de courroie (T) au moins dans des zones adjacentes et les première et seconde sections centrales (22, 42) sont dépourvues de moyens de liaison.
