The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE) that comprises processing circuitry which operates a function that involves monitoring of a downlink control channel of an unlicensed radio cell for information intended to the UE. The unlicensed radio cell operates in an unlicensed spectrum and is controlled by a base station. The processing circuitry and a receiver perform the monitoring of the downlink control channel based on a first timer and a second timer operated in parallel. The first timer is used to limit the maximum time the downlink control channel is to be monitored, by starting the first timer at the beginning of the monitoring and stopping the monitoring upon expiry of the first timer. The second timer is used to stop the monitoring earlier than the first timer depending on the channel occupation status of the unlicensed spectrum by the base station.

La présente invention concerne un équipement utilisateur (UE) qui comprend un circuit de traitement qui exécute une fonction impliquant la surveillance d'un canal de commande de liaison descendante d'une cellule radio sans licence pour des informations destinées à l'UE. La cellule radio sans licence fonctionne dans un spectre sans licence et est commandée par une station de base. Les circuits de traitement et un récepteur réalisent la surveillance du canal de commande de liaison descendante sur la base d'un premier temporisateur et d'un second temporisateur commandés en parallèle. Le premier temporisateur est utilisé pour limiter le temps maximum de surveillance du canal de commande de liaison descendante, en démarrant le premier temporisateur au début de la surveillance et en arrêtant la surveillance à l'expiration du premier temporisateur. Le second temporisateur est utilisé pour arrêter la surveillance plus tôt que le premier temporisateur en fonction de l'état d'occupation de canal du spectre sans licence par la station de base.
