Abstract
(EN) The present application relates to copolymer-silica hybrid aerogels as well as methods for the preparation thereof. The methods comprise hydrolyzing a silica precursor in an organic solvent to obtain a partially polymerized silica wet gel, reacting the partially polymerized silica wet gel with a copolymer of Formula (II) to obtain a copolymer-silica hybrid wet gel, reacting the copolymer-silica hybrid wet gel with a surface passivation agent and removing solvent from the copolymer-silica hybrid wet gel to obtain the copolymer-silica hybrid aerogel. The mechanical properties of the copolymer-silica hybrid aerogels can be further improved by blending cellulose nanofibrils into the hybrid aerogels. (II)
(FR) La présente invention concerne des aérogels hybrides de copolymère-silice ainsi que des procédés pour leur préparation. Les procédés comprennent l'hydrolyse d'un précurseur de silice dans un solvant organique pour obtenir un gel humide de silice partiellement polymérisée, la réaction du gel humide de silice partiellement polymérisée avec un copolymère de Formule (II) pour obtenir un gel humide hybride de copolymère-silice, la réaction du gel humide hybride de copolymère-silice avec un agent de passivation de surface et l'élimination du solvant à partir du gel humide hybride de copolymère-silice pour obtenir l'aérogel hybride de copolymère-silice. Les propriétés mécaniques des aérogels hybrides de copolymère-silice peuvent être encore améliorées par incorporation par mélange de nanofibrilles de cellulose dans les aérogels hybrides. (II)
