This display controller reads data relating to a first image 52a and a second image 52b from a frame buffer, and, by means of a conversion formula that depends on characteristics relating to the brightnesses of the first image 52a and the second image 52b, converts the same into data in a blended space A having common characteristics (S10a). The converted data are then alpha-composited in the blended space (S12), are further converted into a space having characteristics suitable for a display (S14), and are output to the display.

L'invention concerne un contrôleur d'affichage qui lit des données relatives à une première image (52a) et à une seconde image (52b) à partir d'un tampon de trame et, au moyen d'une formule de conversion dépendant de caractéristiques relatives aux luminosités de la première image (52a) et de la seconde image (52b), convertit ces dernières en données dans un espace mixte (A) présentant des caractéristiques communes (S10a). Les données converties sont ensuite composées en alpha dans l'espace mixte (S12), puis converties en un espace présentant des caractéristiques appropriées pour un affichage (S14), et émises en sortie vers l'affichage.

ディスプレイコントローラは、フレームバッファから第1画像52a、第2画像52bのデータを読み出し、それらが有する輝度に対する特性に依存した変換式により、共通の特性を有するブレンド空間Aでのデータに変換する(S10a)。そして変換したデータをブレンド空間Aでアルファ合成し(S12)、ディスプレイに適した特性を有する空間にさらに変換して(S14)、ディスプレイに出力する。
