Abstract

Technologies are provided for assessing liveness of a subject presented to a set of one or more cameras. A pair of face images captured during a first time period are respectively obtained from a first and a second camera. Information regarding each face image of the pair of face images is compared with each other to determine whether the pair of face images are consistent with each other. A third face image captured during a second time period is obtained from the first camera. A first face image of the pair of face images and the third face image are assessed to determine the presence of a particular variance between the first face image and the third face image. A result is provided regarding liveness of the subject presented based on the presence of the particular variance and the determination of consistency between the pair of face images.

L'invention concerne des technologies permettant d'évaluer la vivacité d'un sujet présenté à un ensemble constitué d'une ou de plusieurs caméras. Une paire d'images faciales capturées pendant une première période est respectivement obtenue à partir d'une première et d'une seconde caméra. Les informations concernant chaque image faciale de la paire d'images faciales sont comparées les unes aux autres afin de déterminer si les images faciales de la paire sont cohérentes entre elles. Une troisième image faciale capturée pendant une seconde période est obtenue à partir de la première caméra. Une première image faciale de la paire d'images faciales et la troisième image faciales sont évaluées afin de déterminer la présence d'une variance particulière entre la première image faciale et la troisième image faciale. Un résultat est fourni concernant la vivacité du sujet présenté d’après la présence de la variance particulière et la détermination de la cohérence entre la paire d'images faciales.
