Disclosed are methods and systems that help identify critical variables for more efficient and robust plan validation process. An example embodiment is a computer implemented method of industrial process control. The example method includes receiving in computer memory a dataset including initial process parameters representing operational data of a subject industrial process, and, using filtering operations and grouping operations on the dataset, identifying a subset of the process parameters indicative of control data for controlling the subject industrial process. The example method further includes automatically applying the identified subset of process parameters controlling the subject industrial process.

L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes qui aident à identifier des variables critiques pour un processus de validation de plan plus efficace et plus robuste. Un mode de réalisation illustratif est un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur de commande de processus industriel. Le procédé illustratif consiste à recevoir dans une mémoire d'ordinateur un ensemble de données contenant des paramètres de processus initiaux représentant des données d'exploitation d'un processus industriel sujet et, en utilisant des opérations de filtrage et des opérations de regroupement sur l'ensemble de données, à identifier un sous-ensemble des paramètres de processus indiquant des données de commande pour commander le processus industriel sujet. Le procédé illustratif consiste en outre à appliquer automatiquement le sous-ensemble identifié de paramètres de processus commandant le processus industriel sujet.
