L'invention concerne une fibre optique en plastique (10) qui est pourvue d'un noyau (11) et d'une gaine (12) disposée au niveau de la périphérie externe du noyau (11). Au moins une partie de la gaine (12) comprend une résine ayant une structure poreuse.
