One embodiment of the present invention is an electricity storage element which is provided with an electrode having a mixture layer that contains active material particles, and a separator having an inorganic layer that faces the mixture layer, while containing inorganic particles, and which is configured such that: the active material particles have two or more peaks in the volume-based particle size distribution; and the average particle diameter of the inorganic particles is 1.2 μm or less.

Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne un élément de stockage d'électricité qui est pourvu d'une électrode ayant une couche de mélange qui contient des particules de matériau actif, et un séparateur ayant une couche inorganique qui fait face à la couche de mélange, tout en contenant des particules inorganiques, et qui est conçu de telle sorte que : les particules de matière active ont deux pics ou plus dans la distribution de taille de particule basée sur le volume ; et le diamètre de particule moyen des particules inorganiques est inférieur ou égal à 1,2 µm.
