A continuously variable transmission includes a primary pulley, a secondary pulley, a metal belt, and a controller. The metal belt includes a ring and a plurality of elements bound by the ring. The elements have receiving parts opening in a radial direction of the metal belt, and receive the ring in the receiving parts. The controller, upon sensing a relative movement of the elements to the ring in a lateral direction L, the lateral direction L being a direction perpendicular to a circumferential direction and the radial direction of the metal belt, or upon sensing that the elements are acted upon by a force causing such a relative movement, executes control to prevent fall of the elements.

La présente invention concerne une transmission à variation continue comprenant une poulie primaire, une poulie secondaire, une courroie métallique et un dispositif de commande. La courroie métallique comprend un anneau et une pluralité d'éléments liés par l'anneau. Les éléments présentent des parties de réception s'ouvrant dans une direction radiale de la courroie métallique et reçoivent l'anneau dans les parties de réception. Le dispositif de commande, lors de la détection d'un mouvement relatif des éléments vers l'anneau dans une direction latérale L, la direction latérale L étant une direction perpendiculaire à une direction circonférentielle et la direction radiale de la courroie métallique, ou lorsqu'il est détecté que les éléments sont sollicités par une force provoquant un tel mouvement relatif, exécute une commande pour empêcher la chute des éléments.

無段変速機は、プライマリプーリと、セカンダリプーリと、金属ベルトと、コントローラと、を備える。金属ベルトは、リングと、リングにより結束された複数のエレメントと、を備える。エレメントは、金属ベルトの径方向に開口する受容部を有し、受容部にリングを受ける。コントローラは、金属ベルトの周方向および径方向に垂直な方向を横方向Lとして、エレメントのリングに対する横方向Lの相対移動を検知するか、エレメントに対してそのような相対移動を生じさせる力の作用があることを検知した場合に、エレメントの脱落対策制御を実行する。
