Abstract

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, are provided, for generating video anchors for a video. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining key moment identifiers for a video, where each key moment identifier includes a time index value specifying a playback time in the video, and is indicative subject matter of the video that has been determined to meet one or more interest criteria that define salient topics within the video. For each key moment identifier, a video anchor is generated, where each video anchor indicates a playback time for the video, and may include an image of a frame that occurs near the playback time. Upon a selection of the video anchor by the user, an instruction in the video anchor causes a video player to begin playback of the video at the playback time specified by the video anchor.

L'invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et un appareil, comprenant des programmes informatiques codés sur un support de stockage informatique, permettant de générer des points d'ancrage vidéo pour une vidéo. Selon un aspect, un procédé comprend l'étape suivante consistant à : obtenir des identifiants de moment clé pour une vidéo, chaque identifiant de moment clé comprenant une valeur d'indice temporel spécifiant un temps de lecture dans la vidéo, et indiquant un sujet de la vidéo qui a été déterminé pour satisfaire un ou plusieurs critères d'intérêt qui définissent des thèmes saillants à l'intérieur de la vidéo. Pour chaque identifiant de moment clé, un point d'ancrage vidéo est généré, chaque point d'ancrage vidéo indiquant un temps de lecture pour la vidéo, et peut comprendre une image d'une trame qui se produit à proximité du temps de lecture. Lors d'une sélection du point d'ancrage vidéo par l'utilisateur, une instruction dans le point d'ancrage vidéo amène un lecteur vidéo à commencer à lire la vidéo au moment de la lecture spécifié par le point d'ancrage vidéo.
