A system is provided, including: a radar sensor configured to transmit and receive a radar signal from a person; a depth camera configured to receive a depth image of the person; one or more processors communicative with memory having stored thereon computer program code configured when executed by the one or more processors to cause the one or more processors to perform a method comprising: detect the person; determine depth information relating to the person using the depth image; determine a correlation between the depth information of the person and the radar signal received from the person; and in response to the correlation not within a range of expected values, generating an alert. The depth information may be a volume or surface area of the person.

L'invention concerne un système comprenant : un capteur radar conçu pour émettre et recevoir un signal radar provenant d'une personne; une caméra de profondeur conçue pour recevoir une image de profondeur de la personne; un ou plusieurs processeurs en communication avec une mémoire possédant mémorisé sur cette dernière un code de programme informatique conçu, lorsqu'il est exécuté par lesdits processeurs, pour amener lesdits processeurs à mettre en œuvre un procédé comprenant : la détection de la personne; la détermination d'informations de profondeur relatives à la personne à l'aide de l'image de profondeur; la détermination d'une corrélation entre les informations de profondeur de la personne et le signal radar reçu en provenance de la personne; et si la corrélation n'est pas située dans une plage de valeurs attendues, la génération d'une alerte. Les informations de profondeur peuvent être un volume ou une zone de surface de la personne.
