A two-stage separator system having a housing extending between a first end and a second end. The housing defines a housing inlet, a separator outlet towards the second end, and a filtration outlet on the first end. A filter assembly has a first sheet of filter media coupled to a second sheet of filter media mutually defining a plurality of flutes extending in an axial direction. The filter assembly defines an inlet flow face and an outlet flow face. The filter assembly is disposed in the housing and coupled to the housing about the filtration outlet such that the outlet flow face is in fluid communication with the filtration outlet. The inlet flow face of the filter assembly has an axial flow face length.

L'invention concerne un système de séparateur à deux étages ayant un boîtier s'étendant entre une première extrémité et une seconde extrémité. Le boîtier définit une entrée de boîtier, une sortie de séparateur vers la seconde extrémité, et une sortie de filtration sur la première extrémité. Un ensemble filtrant comprend une première feuille de milieu filtrant couplée à une seconde feuille de milieu filtrant définissant mutuellement une pluralité de cannelures s'étendant dans une direction axiale. L'ensemble filtrant définit une face d'écoulement d'entrée et une face d'écoulement de sortie. L'ensemble filtrant est disposé dans le boîtier et couplé au boîtier autour de la sortie de filtration de telle sorte que la face d'écoulement de sortie est en communication fluidique avec la sortie de filtration.
